At this event in Mission San Luis Rey for the Day of the Dead festival, I was surprised to find out the event this year was the 18th Annual Dia De Los Muertos held at the Mission in Oceanside (my first attendance at one). An explosion of colors, music and cultural fun, I am hooked in going to more in the future.
This wonderful lady had an amazing makeup accentuated with the veil. I believe she in fact was honored as the Queen for the event. The challenge was blending the shades of white against the bright colors of her makeup.
