One with the Moon
By Amethel Parel-Sewell
After our “Shooting the Moon” workshop with Wenjie Qiao, the creator of PlanIt, it was such a thrill tonight to put our PlanIt plans into action for the moonrise over One American Plaza in downtown San Diego. Despite tracking the 98% high clouds throughout the day, we decided to shoot. When we arrived, we were initially disappointed to see that our camera location was a construction site. We scoped other locations within the line of sight, but construction fences blocked those views also.
Looking more closely, we discovered a camera location was just outside of the construction zone.
