Shrine Under Heaven
By Arka Chatterjee
This is a small shrine in the Mani peninsula of mainland Greece. The structure, almost 1000 years old, is nestled into a small sheltered cove within a coastal cliff overlooking the sea. It’s not difficult to get to, but relatively hard to find. The image was lit using a pair of Litra LED torches with warming filters, and natural moonlight. Several images were combined to maximize depth of field and sharpness across the frame.
Nikon D850 / 14-24mm f2.8 @ f2.8 / 1600 ISO / 15-20s exposures / The interior was lit using a pair of Litra torches having warming filters.
