Sprinkling in Spreckels
By Ken Parel-Sewell
After a rainy day, we went reflection hunting that night (you know, like all families do on a cold Sunday evening). Balboa Park glitters beautifully after a rain. While I loved the warm tones of the lights when this image was in color, developing the image in black and white unified the shine of all the light in the wet pavement with the tones in the architecture and made a stronger image.
